Brainstorm with AI is a creative tool for generating post topics, campaign angles, and content ideas for your Google Business Profiles. Unlike AI Content Planning which produces structured plans, Brainstorm is a freeform conversation where you explore ideas with the AI.
Use it when your team is stuck, when you need fresh angles for a seasonal campaign, or when you want to explore new content directions before committing to a plan.
How it works
Start a brainstorm session by describing what you are looking for: a holiday campaign, weekly content themes, ideas for a new service launch, or anything else. The AI responds with a list of ideas, each with a short description and suggested post type.
You can refine the conversation by asking for more ideas, narrowing the focus, or requesting variations on a specific theme. When you find ideas you like, save them to your content plan or send them directly to AI Post Generation.
- Open the Publishing section and select Brainstorm with AI.
- Describe what you need: a theme, a campaign, a content gap, or a business goal.
- Review the AI suggestions. Ask follow-up questions to refine or expand on specific ideas.
- Save the ideas you like to your content plan or generate posts from them directly.

Yes. Content Planning produces a structured, time-bound plan. Brainstorm is a freeform conversation for exploring ideas without committing to a schedule.
Can I brainstorm for a specific location or industry?
Yes. Provide context about the location, audience, or business type and the AI tailors its suggestions accordingly.
Do brainstorm ideas count toward my publishing queue?
No. Ideas are saved as notes or sent to generation only when you choose to act on them.
