Google Posts helps your team publish updates, offers, and events across multiple locations from one workflow. If you need the broader publishing system first, start with our schedule google business posts tool page.
Overview
The Google Posts workflow in Localith lets you create, preview, publish, and schedule posts for one location or many locations at once. Instead of managing posts inside each profile manually, you can work from one editor and coordinate publishing across your whole location set.
This is the right page if you want the day-to-day publishing workflow. For broader scheduling and campaign planning, pair it with Content Calendar and Smart Parameters.
Before you start
Before you publish your first post, make sure:
- your Google Business Profiles are connected in Localith
- you know which locations should receive the post
- you have the right post type ready: update, offer, or event
- any required image or video asset is prepared
If you plan to personalize posts by location, decide which fields will be inserted through Smart Parameters before you build the post.
How it works
Localith gives you one publishing workflow for creating the post, choosing the target listings, previewing the output, and then either publishing immediately or scheduling it for later.
Based on the help-center workflow, the normal sequence is:
- open the Publishing section
- create a new post
- choose the target locations
- select the post type
- add the description and media
- preview the post
- publish now, schedule for later, or save as draft
Step-by-step
- Open Publishing from the left-side menu.
- Click New post.
- Choose the listing or listings where the post should appear.
- Select the post type: update, offer, or event.
- Add the post description and media.
- Customize the CTA button if needed.
- Review the live preview on the right side.
- Choose Publish now or Schedule for later.
- If scheduling, select the date and time and confirm the post.
Tips and best practices
- Use Smart Parameters when you want one post template to adapt across multiple locations.
- Save unfinished work as draft if the post still needs approval or revised assets.
- Use Content Calendar to spot timing gaps and avoid overlapping campaigns.
- If you publish in bulk, verify the target locations before you confirm the post.
Limits or edge cases
- Post effectiveness depends on the quality of your text, media, and timing, not just the act of publishing.
- If you schedule posts far in advance, make sure the content is still accurate when the publish date arrives.
- For large bulk operations, CSV-based publishing may be more efficient than building each post one by one.
Common questions
Can I save a post and finish it later?
Yes. Use Save as Draft if the post is not ready yet. Drafts remain in the Publishing section so you can reopen and edit them later.
Can I personalize posts by location?
Yes. Use Smart Parameters such as location name, city, phone, or address to make one post adapt across multiple locations.
Can I publish with CSV instead of the editor?
Yes. If you need a spreadsheet-based workflow, Localith also supports CSV-based post publishing and scheduling.
